ROGERSVILLE — On Tuesday the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office released descriptions of three masked suspects who robbed the Lakeview Grocery west of Rogersville early Sunday morning, locking the clerk in a cooler in the process.

Two males and one female reportedly entered the store at 754 Choptack Road, Rogersville, around 1:20 a.m. Sunday and ordered the clerk, Michael Wright, into the cooler. They then locked the cooler door, took cash and fled. A short time later, two customers entered the store and released Wright from the cooler.

The female suspect was described as about 5 feet 4 inches tall with black hair and wearing a black jacket and black scarf over her face. One male was described as slender and about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing blue jeans, a black dreadlock wig and red bandana on his face. The only description for the second male was that he was shorter than the first and wearing a mask.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the HCSO at 272-4848.
