Cleanup efforts at Andrew Jackson Elementary School following a severe storm were interrupted when one man apparently dropped a chainsaw, and panic ensued.

The dispatcher who took the 911 call said the man who reported the chainsaw incident was screaming.

It's not immediately known whether or not the man who dropped the chainsaw was the same person who made the call, as the cleanup crew had at least two men on scene.

But according to a second dispatcher, who said emergency responders were sent out on emergency traffic, the call for an ambulance was cancelled before anyone arrived to treat the man.

"Evidently he hadn't injured himself, I don't know if he got scared when it hit him or what, but there was no injury at all," the second dispatcher said.

Tuesday's storm also ripped a section of the roof off of the Southern Lending building, scattering materials across Stone Drive.
