A Daniel Boone High School student was arrested Tuesday after allegedly making threats to kill classmates.
According to Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal, School Resource Officer Jerry Bennett was notified by school officials that a 15-year-old freshman had made threats to bring weapons to the school and kill Christian students and those who love God and go to church.
The teen was brought to the school office, and an investigation immediately began.
Graybeal said through further investigation and in talking with students officers learned the teen had talked of being "the new Adolph Hitler" and creating a "Super Church."
Graybeal said no weapon was brought to school, and no students were in any danger.
The teen has been charged with civil rights intimidation and is being housed in the Regional Juvenile Detention Center without bond.
