Humane Society of Greater Sullivan County will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 613 Foothills Road, Kingsport. All proceeds will help fund the construction of a new no-kill adoption center.

Northeast Tennessee Technology Council will hold its inaugural golf tournament at MeadowView Cattails Golf Course, Kingsport. Call 279-9000 or visit www.netntech.org/golf.


NAIA Region XII College Baseball Championship will continue with games at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Hunter Wright Stadium, Kingsport. Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for youth.


Altrusa International Inc. of Kingsport will sponsor the 16th Honorarium for Leaders In Business and Industry at noon at Ridgefields Country Club. Michael Shoulders, teacher, children's author and workshop presenter, will speak.


Friends of the Washington County Public Libraries will hold a book sale from noon to 5 p.m. at the Gray Branch Library.


National Association of Letter Carriers in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Service with hold its 15th annual letter carriers "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive. Place nonperishable donations near your mailbox for your mail carrier to pick up. All donations will be given to Second Harvest Food Bank.
