N-tara expands focus, adds employees

JOHNSON CITY - N-tara Inc., a provider of digital media solutions and tools for business communications, is expanding its business into a full-service interactive agency. As part of its growth strategy, n-tara has recruited several industry experts with experience at top agencies, including BBDO Worldwide and Agency.com. "We experienced tremendous growth in 2006," said Ralph O'Dell, chairman and CEO of n-tara. "Our customers are reaching out to us to provide full-service creative, strategic and tactical management of their Web-based sales, marketing and training activities. It was a natural move for us to grow our offerings and our expertise as a result of this customer demand." Dennis Pannuto will be chief information officer at n-tara. Pannuto is a business technology professional who has established a career by identifying ways to create new revenue streams and save companies money. Pannuto is the former CIO at BBDO Worldwide, the third-largest global advertising network. Aimen TaherBarma has joined n-tara as senior customer engagement strategist to lead n-tara's customer relationship management practice. TaherBarma is a marketing executive with 18 years of experience in Internet marketing, customer relationship management and product management in an array of industries including financial services, travel, software, online services and digital content. Ethan Blumenstrauch has been named creative director. Blumenstrauch is a former senior-level creative director of the New York office of Agency.com, where he directed the design and construction of large-scale branded e-commerce Web sites, as well as other digital media projects prior to Agency.com for Fortune 500 companies. N-tara is headquartered in Johnson City with an Ohio regional office.
BRISTOL, Tenn. - Dr. Nelson Gwaltney and Brenda Bouton, director of wound care and hyperbaric medicine at Bristol Regional Medical Center, have been invited to present a case abstract at the 2007 Diversified Clinical Services Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla. The poster presentation will share the story of a Bristol Regional patient who was saved from bilateral amputation thanks to hyperbaric oxygen therapy, contact casting and long-term intravenous antibiotics through the hospital's wound care center. Medical directors and nurse clinical managers for wound care centers around the country will attend the conference. The sponsor, Diversified Clinical Services, is a national wound care company that focuses on establishing and managing comprehensive wound care centers in hospitals all over the country.
