Kingsport Chamber to hold ribbon cutting for Tri-Cities Funeral Home

KINGSPORT, Tenn. ? The Kingsport Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for Tri-Cities Funeral Home Friday, October 24, 2008, at 10 a.m. at 2630 Highway 75, Blountville.

Tri-Cities Funeral Home is a family owned and operated funeral home with a full-service facility on call twenty-four seven, three hundred sixty-five days a year. When calling after hours, individuals are directed to the funeral director, not an answering machine.

Funeral Director and owner Jeff Wilder has lived and operated businesses in Kingsport and Sullivan County since 1971. Tri-Cities Funeral Home has been in operation for seven months.

?This side of the city has needed a funeral home for several years,? said Wilder on why he chose the Blountville location. ?Our location is perfect for services, in one of the fastest growing parts of Kingsport.?

In addition to the ribbon cutting, an open house event will take place Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. All are encouraged to stop by and tour the new facilities.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
