A judge on Friday put Hog Wild Saloon co-owner Donnie Godsey on probation and ordered him to perform community service for running a gambling operation in Kingsport.
Sullivan County Criminal Court Judge Robert Montgomery ordered Godsey to serve six months probation and perform 100 hours of community service after finding him guilty of aggravated gambling promotion.
Godsey, then 46, was among 16 arrested during a gambling raid at 4209 Fort Henry Drive, Kingsport. Police seized $19,900 in cash along with poker chips, playing cards, and betting slips for college and professional football games.
Most of the group pleaded guilty to gambling and other charges in Kingsport General Sessions Court.
Police say Godsey was running an illegal gambling establishment with 82-year-old Paul McKinney allegedly serving as his bookie. According to circuit court records, McKinney’s case hasn’t been bound over from sessions court. The exact status of his case was not immediately available.

Gosh, I guess a slap on the wrist was considered too harsh for the poor mafia member.
As long as kingsport gets the money they could care less about the punishment.
