Nickelsville Days to feature parade, tractor rally, music

NICKELSVILLE — If you’re looking for something to do on Memorial Day weekend, Nickelsville Days has you covered.

The annual festival will feature music, inflatables, a dog show, a tractor rally and, of course, a parade. Below is the complete schedule of activities.

Friday, May 24

8-9:45 p.m. — Family Movie Night at Keith Memorial Park cabin

6-8 p.m. — Game Night by Inn Roads Ministry at Keith Memorial Park cabin

6-9 p.m. — Allen Hicks Jam Session at Keith Memorial Park stage

(Guests encouraged to bring canned goods.)

10 p.m.-midnight — Glow Dance for high school students at Keith Memorial Park cabin

Saturday, May 25

7-8 a.m. — Morning Hike by Uplift Church at Keith Memorial Park trail

8-10 a.m. — Pancake Breakfast by TS Athletic Boosters at Keith Memorial Park cabin

9 a.m. — Plant Sale by Masons at the Nickelsville Masonic Lodge

10 a.m.-5 p.m. — Tractor Rally at Nickelsville Town Hall

10-11 a.m. — Mr. Bond Science Guy show in the Amphitheater

11 a.m.-1 p.m. — Mr. Bond Science Guy hands-on booth in the Amphitheater

11 a.m.-noon — Memorial Ceremony at Keith Memorial Park

1-2 p.m. — Parade

1-5 p.m. — Kiddie Train at Keith Memorial Park

2-2:30 p.m. — Water Fun by Nickelsville Fire Department in the First Baptist Church parking lot

2-4 p.m. — Cruise-in with Common Wealth Riders by FCCLA at the Club House

2-4 p.m. — Art in the Park with Candace Mullins at Keith Memorial Park cabin

2-4 p.m. — Scott County Jams at Keith Memorial Park stage

2-5 p.m. — Strongest Farm Hand Competition at the baseball field

3-4 p.m. — STREAMWorks in the Amphitheater

4-5:30 p.m. — Dog Show with proceeds benefiting animal shelter in the Amphitheater

4-6 p.m. — Bingo at Keith Memorial Park cabin

5:30-7:30 p.m. — Railway Express at Keith Memorial Park stage

7:30-8 p.m. — Raffle giveaways and a 50/50 cash prize at Keith Memorial Park stage

8-10 p.m. — Retroville at Keith Memorial Park stage

In addition, craft, food and information vendors will be set up from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Keith Memorial Park, and inflatables will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the baseball field.

Sunday, May 26

10 a.m.-noon — Worship service at Keith Memorial Park stage

Noon-1 p.m. — Lunch with Meals of Love at Keith Memorial Park stage
