The camp will include position-specific instructions from Cavaliers coaching staff members and focus on player development with scrimmages and evaluations. Commuter registration is $70 and overnight registration is $100. • TWRA SAFE BOATING COURSE, offered by the Tri-Cities Boating Club, will be take place March 20 and 22, from 5:30-8 p.m. each night, in room L-106 at Northeast State Community College in Blountville. All boat operators in Tennessee born after Jan. 1, 1989, are required to have the permit that comes with passing the end-of-course exam, which will be administered on Thursday. The fee for the course is $10; preregistration is not required but is recommended. A TWRA Type 600 Boating Safety Exam Permit, which costs $10, also must be purchased ahead of time and brought to the class. The permit may be bought from any TWRA hunting/fishing license vendor. • SHAMROCK 4-MILER and Leprechaun Walk, presented by Highlands Union Bank and benefiting the Johnston Memorial fund of the Ballad Health Foundation, will be held Friday, March 16, starting at 7 p.m. at the Abingdon Farmers Market on Remsburg Drive. Preregister online through 9 p.m. March 15 at balladhealth.org/shamrock-4-miler; preregistration fees for the run are $25 for adults and $15 for those under 12 and preregistration for the 1.3-mile walk is $15. Day-of registration and packet pick-up will be from 3-6:30 p.m. at the farmers market; fees then are $30 for adult runners, $15 for runners under 12, and $20 for all walkers.

• RED SHIELD 5K RUN/WALK, which benefits the Salvation Army of Kingsport, will be held Saturday, April 7, starting at 10 a.m., at Warriors Path State Park.
