Ross Beverly earned the win in relief after getting the final four outs for Central. Trey Sells worked the first 5 2/3 innings and hit a two-run double.

ERWIN — Peyton Whitson struck out six for the Blue Devils, who opened with season with a win over the Rebels.

ELIZABETHTON — Matthew Dailey’s line drive single to center field scored Karson Dillard the bottom of the ninth for the Cyclones.
There was only one hit through the regulation seven innings, a second-inning single by Lawson Wagner.

KINGSPORT — Macy Ellis’ RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave Sullivan South the walk-off victory.
Nicole Troutman was 3-for-4 with a home run and a pair of RBIs for the Lady Rebels.
Courtney Willis had three hits and Sydney Sapp had two for the Lady Cougars. Makenzie Wallen and Laura Dade each had two hits for South.

ROGERSVILLE — Griffin Mullins drove in three runs for the Lady Indians on opening day.
Morgan Riffle limited Cherokee to one earned run.

BRISTOL, Tenn. — Nikki Duncan went 4-for-4 and drove in three and Bailey Lamb pitched a one-hitter for the Lady Vikings.
Tori Ryan and Jazmin Hurley each had three hits for Tennessee High. Sydney Trosin had the Lady Bucs’ only hit, an RBI single in the sixth inning.

ABINGDON — Chelsea Sams went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and scored three runs to lead the Lady Patriots.
