Johnson County’s football team turned in a familiar performance Thursday night in a 14-0 nonconference win over host Sullivan East.

Sullivan East will play host to Johnson County in a not-so-tight series that hasn’t produced a one-score finish in more than a decade. In other early openers, Sullivan North plays host to Sullivan Central while Tennessee High visits Knox Central.
