KINGSPORT -- After months of excitement, it all comes down to this.
Tonight is the final night of the 2013 season at Kingsport Speedway, and champions will be crowned in every NASCAR Whelen All-American Series division.
The spotlight will be on the Late Model class, which has staged a compelling points race all season long. After all the twists and turns, Knoxville's Chad Finchum enters tonight's Late Model doubleheader leading Johnson City's Zeke Shell by just nine points.
Daniel Pope, who announced earlier this week that he won't be returning to race in Kingsport next season, is third with 471 points, giving him an outside chance at a points title if Finchum and Shell run into trouble.
The points race is even tighter in the Street Stock division, where John Harrell leads Rob Austin and Nick Cole by a single point. On the other hand, it will be a relaxing night for John Ketron, who has the Pure 4 division locked up thanks to a 50-point lead over Jason Ketron.
