LONG BEACH, Calif. — East Tennessee State senior David Geno has been selected by TopDrawerSoccer.com as one of the nation’s top 100 upperclassmen.

Geno, the reigning Atlantic Sun player of the year and a former standout at Dobyns-Bennett, set a program single-season record last year by scoring 30 points. He had 11 goals, eight assists and 40 shots on goal, all single-season ETSU records.

With seven starters returning, the Bucs are seeking a third consecutive season with 10 or more wins.

ETSU opens the season at home on Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. against Kentucky.
