KINGSPORT — The Kingsport Mets’ Appalachian League baseball game against the Princeton Rays was rained out on Monday, postponing the start of the K-Mets’ nine-game homestand.

The game will be made up Tuesday as part of a doubleheader at Hunter Wright Stadium with the opener set for a 5 p.m. first pitch. The nightcap will begin about 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
