All former Bluff City Vol baseball players, coaches, managers, girl friends and wives are invited.
The Bluff City Vols were a strong semi-pro team that played from the mid-1950s to the early ’80s under the leadership of the legendary Earnest King Carrier. The Vols played an extensive schedule that saw them play in Greeneville, Hendersonville, N.C., Roanoke, Va., and Lexington, Ky.
This is a pot-luck picnic so bring a dish, drink and utensils. For more information contact Ed Carrier at (423) 538-4795 or Dick Ryan at (276) 646-5792.
