KNOXVILLE — Punter Tim Gleeson, who left Wyoming last month, tweeted Wednesday that he planned to enroll at Tennessee.
“Happy to announce that the University of Tennessee will be where I’m heading! A rich history with a football program on the rise,” Gleeson wrote.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Gleeson averaged 43 yards a punt as a freshman for the Cowboys in 2012. Wyoming coach Dave Christensen said last month that Gleeson was returning to Australia to take care of “personal issues.”
