The NAIA opening round runs May 13-15 and features four-team, double-elimination tournaments at 10 different sites.
VI opens NAIA play Monday at noon against 15th-ranked Spring Hill (Ala.). The Lady Badgers (41-14) finished as the runners-up in the Southern States Athletic Conference.
Top-seeded Beaufort, which is ranked ninth nationally, and Cumberland University (Tenn.) round out the Lady Cobras' bracket. Games are set for the Gray Athletic Complex in Hardeeville, S.C.
In addition to USC Beaufort, the other hosts are Belhaven University (Miss.), Concordia University (Calif.), Concordia University (Ore.), Lee University (Tenn.), Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.), Lubbock Christian University (Texas), Oklahoma City University, Park University (Mo.) and Rogers State University (Okla.).
The winners from each site travel to Columbus, Ga., for the national championship, which is a double-elimination event set for May 24-30.
