JOHNSON CITY — Four East Tennessee State pitchers combined for a 3-0 shutout against Tennessee Tech on Tuesday night at Thomas Stadium to help the Buccaneers break a two-game losing streak. Right-hander Logan Rice (2-1), in his first collegiate start, pitched four innings before handing it off to Jared Burton, Kameron Miller and Clinton Freeman, who worked the final two innings for his third save. Jeremy Taylor, Dylan Tritsch and Andrew Green had two hits each for ETSU (15-11). Tritsch tripled and knocked in a run. Dylan Bosheers doubled twice and Daniel Miles also had two hits for the Golden Eagles (21-8). The Bucs begin a three-game series at Atlantic Sun Conference newcomer Northern Kentucky on Friday.
