CMD coaches honor Devils' Gose, Ervin

Gate City’s Morgan Gose and Luke Ervin were named the Clinch Mountain District girls and boys basketball players of the year on Tuesday. Gose led the Lady Blue Devils to the CMD regular-season title and a berth in the VHSL Group A Division 2 quarterfinals. Ervin and the Blue Devils won the district and Region D titles and finished runner-up in the state tournament.
