BRISTOL, Tenn. — First, Dobyns-Bennett and Tennessee High traded turnovers. Then they traded touchdowns. Then the Indians turned on the afterburners and left the Vikings standing wearily in their wake.

Malik Foreman ran for five touchdowns and threw for two more, and the Tribe trounced Tennessee High 70-24 inside the Stone Castle on Friday night in a Big 8 Conference contest.

The Indians used a 35-point second quarter to turn a 14-12 lead into a gaping 56-18 advantage at the half and finished the game with 555 yards of total offense.

After watching his team put up 70 points for the third week in a row, D-B coach Graham Clark had no trouble summing up Friday’s game.

“Good night at the Stone Castle,” Clark said.

Indeed. Foreman got things started for D-B by running over, under, around and through Tennessee High’s defense. Foreman, who finished with 264 rushing yards on 10 carries, used TD runs of 35, 61 and 56 yards to put the Tribe ahead 21-12 at the end of the first quarter.
