BLOUNTVILLE — Sullivan Central girls soccer coach Cliff Ferguson said his team kicked the ball to its opponent, Sullivan South, pretty much all night. South, in turn, kicked said ball into the net on several occasions.
Natalie Street played a vital role in three goals, Marissa Byerley and Keri Harrison each collected a brace, and the Lady Rebels moved to the top of the District 1-AAA pile via a 5-0 win at Old Holston on Tuesday night.
The result moved South (9-3-2, 4-0-1) ahead of Science Hill, with the Lady Rebels having played one more district match. South hosts the Lady Hilltoppers (9-3-2, 3-0-1) on Tuesday, a day after the Hill travels to David Crockett.
