Player Profile: Lacie York

Sullivan South senior Lacie York has been a dominant force in high school golf for the past four years. A two-time District 1-AAA champ, she won the Region 1 tournament last year in Morristown. York has signed to play collegiately at Middle Tennessee State and is looking forward to the next level of competition. Recently, she talked with Times-News executive sports editor Pat Kenney and answered some questions about her thoughts on things. Who is your favorite athlete?LPGA pro golfer Paula CreamerWhat is your favorite movie?“The Last Song.” What is your best athletic memory?I sank a long putt to finish second in the middle school state tournament when I was in the eighth grade. What is your worst athletic memory?Last year’s high school state tournament. We had a chance to win as a team and I didn’t play very well and we didn’t win.
