Campbell takes command late, leads Lady Rebels over 'Blazers

KINGSPORT — There was a lot up for grabs when Daniel Boone and Sullivan South’s girls basketball teams took the floor on Friday.

Luckily for the Lady Rebels, they were in good hands.

Makensey Campbell dominated the final three minutes of the contest, vaulting South to a 48-37 victory and putting the Lady Rebels into a virtual tie for fourth in the Big 8 Conference.

Campbell controlled the boards down the stretch and hit all six of her free throw attempts in the final minute to ice the game.
