Coveted recruit chooses Tennessee over LSU, Alabama; experts rank Vols' signees 22nd

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, one of the Southeast's most coveted recruits has chosen Lane Kiffin's Tennessee Vols -- and more precisely, father Monte Kiffin's defense -- over LSU and Alabama.
Carver defensive back Darren Myles, Jr., of Atlanta, made his college intentions known on national television Wednesday.
“I wanted to make it a surprise,” he said. “I think I even told my dad that I was going to Alabama.”
One big draw was the opportunity to play with fellow metro Atlanta native Eric Berry in the Tennessee defensive backfield.

As of 2:30 p.m. Rivals.com, which tracks and ranks college recruits, ranked Tennessee's 2009 class as 22nd in the nation.
Unfortunately for Big Orange fans, that was behind seven other SEC programs; LSU, 1; Alabama, 3; Florida, 7; South Carolina, 11; Georgia, 12; Auburn, 16; Ole Miss, 18.
