Martin, running a partial NASCAR Nextel Cup schedule for Ginn Racing, tacked on races at Pocono, Richmond and Dover.
"The three races we've added are tracks where I typically enjoy racing," Martin said. "We were already set to run the first race at those tracks and now we'll look forward to going back for a second time."
Martin has raced in eight of the 11 Nextel Cup events this season and is ranked 15th in the season standings - ahead of 18 drivers who have competed in all of the races. The No. 01 Chevrolet, driven by Regan Smith when Martin is out of the car, is ranked sixth in owner points.
Martin, who will take part in Saturday night's Nextel All-Star Challenge, will drive the next five Cup events before turning the wheel over to Smith for the June 24 race in Sonoma, Calif.

• CHARLOTTE, N.C. - NASCAR penalized Bill Davis Racing on Tuesday for allowing an unlicensed driver behind the wheel of Johnny Benson's truck during a test session last week.
Mike Lichty, a friend of Benson's, took some laps in Benson's ride during Thursday's Craftsman Truck Series test at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Lichty wrecked, and NASCAR kicked the team out of the test when it discovered Benson wasn't behind the wheel.
Benson was fined $10,000 and docked 50 points, and crew chief Trip Bruce was suspended for two races.
"We agree with the penalties NASCAR has issued to the 23 team and we will deal with them accordingly," team owner Bill Davis said.
Billy Hagerthey will replace Bruce as crew chief.
