Hunter Harris assisted on the goal, stretching out to get it to Plaisted.

GRAY — Sunjae Paek and Dylan Sanchez each had a goal and an assist to lead the Hilltoppers over the Trailblazers.
Mateo Koch’s free kick opened scoring, and Dan Good scored off an assist by Paek for a 2-0 lead.
Sanchez then assisted on a Paek goal and Hamdi Ahmed got the assist on Sanchez’s goal.

CHURCH HILL — The Pioneers scored eight runs in the fifth inning to put away the game.
Landon Quillen went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Dakota Stout also drove in three runs and Grady Cash had two doubles, finishing 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Cody Wheeley drove in two runs, drew two walks and scored twice. Sean Hayes also ended with two RBIs, and Cade Larkins drew three walks and scored twice.
As a team, Crockett had 10 hits and drew 10 walks.
Nolan Miller got the win, giving up five hits over the five innings.
Tucker Bellamy suffered the loss for the Falcons, who got an RBI from Caleb Trent.
Sullivan South 15, Sullivan East 0, 5 innings
BLUFF CITY — Cole Layne belted a grand slam during an eight-run second inning for the Rebels.
Layne finished with two hits and two runs scored in addition to his four RBIs.
Austin Monds scored three runs, and Chase Bowery and Drew Creech each went 2-for-3 and crossed home twice for South. Peyton Stanley also contributed two hits.
Sullivan North 3, Hampton 1
HAMPTON — Hunter Dingus hurled a one-hitter at the Bulldogs, striking out six and walking one.
Cole Bear and Tyler Bowman had two hits apiece, and Bear drove in a run.
Feshman Morgan Lyons had Hampton’s hit.
Hampton starting pitcher Josh Owens was solid over 5 1/3 innings, then Dalton Rouse turned in 1 2/3 innings of scoreless work.
Elizabethton 11, Sullivan Central 0, 5 innings
BLOUNTVILLE — Matthew Dailey shut down the Cougars, striking out eight and allowing just one hit in the five-inning victory.
Dailey went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Cyclones. Evan Perkins also was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored, and Evan Carter 2-for-3 with three runs scored.
Twin Springs 4, Thomas Walker 3, 8 innings
NICKELSVILLE — Dillon Thompson homered and drove in two runs and the Titans’ pulled out the extra-inning win in a Cumberland District game that had a total of six hits and five errors.
Justin Reed and Cole Burke also plated a run apiece for Twin Springs, which had four hits and committed three errors.
Despite not allowing a hit and striking out 16 batters, Tanner Dingus didn’t figure in the decision after exiting following seven strong innings. He walked three and gave up two runs.
Justin Reed tossed the eighth inning, giving up two hits and one run with three strikeouts, to get the win.
Lucas Sturgill had a hit and an RBI for the Pioneers.
Eastside 13, Castlewood 3, 5 innings
COEBURN — Peyton Pope (4-1) and Austin Rittenberry combined on a two-hitter for the Spartans (7-6, 6-0 Cumberland District).
Pope and Rittenberry also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Will Stansberry and Nick Raymond contributed two hits each with Stansberry knocking in three runs. Landon Trent filled up the stat sheet with a 4-for-4, two-RBI day in which he also stole a base.
Devin Robinson and Layden Taylor had the hits for the Blue Devils.
J.I. Burton 12, Rye Cove 1
CLINCHPORT — Tyler Springs drove in two runs and Tanner Branham recorded two hits in the Raiders’ Cumberland District win.
Derek Allen struck out eight in picking up the complete-game shutout.
Chase Love had a hit and an RBI for the Eagles, who stranded eight baserunners.
Union 15, Holston 3
DAMASCUS — Hunter Anderson drove in four runs and scored twice himself in the Bears’ nondistrict win.
Mason Caldwell drove in three runs and had three hits in five at-bats. Union scored four runs in two separate innings and five in another and doubled up Holston in hits, 12-6.
Dobyns-Bennett 5, Cherokee 0
ROGERSVILLE — Morgan Riffle starred at the plate and in the circle in the Lady Indians’ Big 7 win.
Riffle struck out nine and gave up three hits and two walks in a complete game. She also went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and three runs scored.
Kassidy Miller was 2-for-4, Brandy Hannoway had two RBIs, and Emma Allgood and Makaila Collier doubled.
Morgan Lawson suffered the loss for Cherokee.
Unicoi County 12, Sullivan East 1, 6 innings
ERWIN — Samanta Chavez had two home runs for a total of five RBIs and the Lady Blue Devils (27-6, 11-0) wrapped up the Three Rivers Conference regular-season title.
Unicoi County got a five-hitter and eight strikeouts from pitcher Allee Griffith.
Cayden Bawgus enabled the second-place Lady Patriots (16-11, 8-2) to avoid a shutout by clubbing a sixth-inning homer. She and Jillian Shackelford produced 2-for-3 efforts, Shackelford with a double.
Sullivan South 7, Sullivan Central 3
BLOUNTVILLE — Laura Dade went 4-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Lady Rebels. Her totals included two doubles, one a two-RBI slap in the first inning.
McKenzie Wallen was 2-for-4 and also drove in three runs to help Sullivan South finish league play at 8-4 and on a three-game winning streak. Bradley Warner was 2-for-3 with a double.

Nicole Troutman earned the win, giving up eight hits.
Ashley Steadman was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Central on the night the Lady Cougars honored their seniors.
Sullivan North 9, University High 8
JOHNSON CITY — Elaina Gilliam’s two-out single in the top of the seventh inning scored courtesy runner Malaika Freeman, breaking an 8-8 tie.
Makayla Estep, Alexis Lipoma and Kaitlyn Lemmons all contributed two hits to a 12-hit North output. Estep recorded three RBIs, and Lipoma, who tripled, drove in a pair of runs. Lemmons scored three times.
Brooklyn Robinson pitched four innings for the victory, yielding four unearned runs.
Katy Stancil, Emily Morgan and Aly Abia each had two hits and Stancil drove in two runs for University High.
Daniel Boone 4, Science Hill 1
GRAY — Nickolette Ferguson gave up a leadoff homer to Kasey Bennett on the game’s first pitch but didn’t allow another hit in the Lady Trailblazers’ Big 7 win.
Daniel Boone (38-5, 8-1) took over sole possession of first place in the conference and dropped Science Hill (25-7, 8-2) to second.
Ferguson, a junior right-hander, walked one and struck out eight.
Megan Ackerman tied the game in the fourth when she scored on McKenna Dietz’s RBI single. Two more runs scored on an error to give Boone a 3-1 lead.
Sejal Neas took the loss.
Rye Cove 7, J.I. Burton 4
CLINCHPORT — Kayla Jessee doubled and drove in two runs and Abby Jenkins went 2-for-4 to lead the Lady Eagles to the Cumberland District win.
Baylee Jenkins delivered a solo home run in the sixth for the Lady Raiders, who outhit the home team 10-9 but committed three errors to Rye Cove’s one.
Lexie Rhoton recorded the win.
Eastside 20, Castlewood 2
COEBURN — The Lady Spartans unloaded a 13-run inning to bring the Cumberland game to a quick end.
Carrie Boyd had the big bat for Eastside, finishing 4-for-4 — three doubles and a single. Kacie Jones went 3-for-4.
Tinley Hamilton was the winning pitcher.
The Lady Blue Devils had more errors (5) than hits (4).
Wise Central 4, Gate City 1
WISE — Hannah Carter had a solo home run and Maggie Shell went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the Lady Warriors’ Mountain 7 win.
Britanny Mullins was 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Olivia Basham and Bayleigh Allison each went 2-for-3 with a double, and Allison had an RBI plus picked up the win.
Taylor Blevins went 2-for-4 and Kinslee Hammonds doubled for the Lady Blue Devils, who totaled five hits.
John Battle 8, Ridgeview 6, 12 innings
BRISTOL, Va. — Emma Harmon’s two-run home run in the bottom of the 12th gave the Lady Trojans the win in the Mountain 7 District marathon.
The Wolfpack stranded two baserunners in the top of the seventh, and the teams went to extra innings tied at 3.
Nikole Counts launched a three-run shot in the top of the ninth for a 6-3 Ridgeview lead, but John Battle tied it up again.
Harmon finished 3-for-6 with three RBIs.
Reliever Hanna Jo McReynolds was credited with the win.
