Glenn Arthur Mullins

RICHMOND, VA - Glenn Arthur Mullins, 74, of Richmond, VA was called home to Our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 9, 2019, after a lengthy struggle with COPD.

Born in Church Hill, TN on December 15, 1944, Glenn was the youngest of 7 children. He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin R. Mullins and Hazel M. Mullins, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his loving and caring son and daughter-in-law, Brandon W. Mullins and Dyana P. Mullins; his two grandsons, Jacob and Ryan Mullins of Chesterfield, VA; his sister, Wilma Lane, of Winston Salem, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Glenn attended Dobyns-Bennett High School and served 10 years in the U.S. Army, including tours to S. Korea, Germany and Vietnam during the war. He worked for Edison Plastics in Newport News, VA. He was a member of the Cedar View Methodist Church in Kingsport, TN.

Glenn lived in Richmond since his retirement where he enjoyed a close relationship with Brandon, Dyana, Jacob, and Ryan. Besides his love for his family, his other love was reading.

Glenn’s wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes returned to his beloved Tennessee.

God called and set Glenn free.
