Elizabeth was born in Scott County, VA on October 21, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Carson and Easter Jeanette (Hill) Bishop.
In addition to her parents, her infant son, Ricky Lynn Qualls and a brother, Buddy Bishop preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bascom Cline Qualls, Duffield, VA; daughters, Marlene Mullins, Duffield, VA and Katrina Repass (Ray), Gate City, VA; sons, Dana Qualls, Gate City, VA, Randall Qualls (Vickie), Gate City, VA, Gregory Qualls (Christy) Summerville, SC; her grandson whom she raised as her son, Anthony Qualls (Teresa), Gate City, VA; grandchildren, Chris Mullins (Christy), Jonathan Qualls (Rachael), Kristin Dunlap Christian, Travis Qualls (Heather), Crystal Bishop (Jonathan), Meagan Qualls, Mandy Qualls, John Douglas Presley, III, and Allison Presley; step grandchildren, Kayla and Cody Repass; great grandchildren, Blake, Andy, Breanna, Caleb, Madison, Kenzie, Shawn, Emma Rose, Makenzi, Madison, Natalie, Isiah; sisters, Edith Jarrett, Kingsport, TN, Nancy Vaughn, Kingsport, TN, and Patsy Vaughn (Henry), Church Hill, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Sanders officiating. The Knight Family will provide the music.
Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA.
