Lana Collins Marion

Lana Collins Marion passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, May 13, 2018, after a brief illness.

She was born November 12, 1941 in Rogersville, Tennessee, on the same farm where she spent the last decade of her life. She loved her family, her garden, traveling (49 of 50 states), cooking for family, and her 55 year career as a registered nurse. A graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Nursing, she specialized in elder care for most of her career, working at Jefferson City Health and Rehab in Jefferson City, Tennessee, and Signature Healthcare in Rogersville, Tennessee. She was a member of East Rogersville Baptist Church and the Living Faith Sunday School class.

Her parents were the late Conley and Lena (Rogers) Collins of Rogersville. 
She is survived by her children, Stephen Marion (Eugenia) of Dandridge and Rachel Franklin (Stuart) of Rogersville; sister, Janet Dailey of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Allison and Jenna Franklin of Rogersville; nephew, Henry Dailey; nieces, Susan Dailey and Ginger Wolf (Rob); great nieces, Jayda Wolf and Michelle Callahan; great nephew, Dylan Wolf, all of Tampa, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Signature Healthcare fund for resident needs.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 19, 2018 at McKinney Cemetery with Rev. Jason Royston officiating. Christian-Sells Funeral Home of Rogersville is serving the family.
