Bristol market owner faces gambling charges

The owner of a Sullivan County market has been arrested, nearly one year after police first raided his store and seized alleged gambling computers.Andrew Khoa Tien Huynh, 36, of Bristol, Tenn., was indicted last week by a Sullivan County grand jury. He's charged with aggravated gambling promotion and possession of a gambling device of record.The Bristol, Tenn., Police Department served a search warrant last August at Andy's Market, 2117 Weaver Pike, Bristol, Tenn. According to a BTPD press release, an investigation was launched following a tip on illegal gambling activities at the business.In executing the warrant investigators said they seized two "sweepstakes" computers, along with other evidence allegedly involved in the reported gambling operation.Huynh was arrested on Thursday and booked into the Sullivan County jail. He posted $3,000 bond and was released.
