The caller suspected the woman was "fussing about cigarettes."June 21Three juveniles on East Sevier Avenue were reportedly "trying to steal a bike off a porch."June 23Police responded to a disturbance on Hawthorne Street, where a woman found lying on the floor "appeared to be extremely intoxicated." Another woman at the scene stated no fight occurred, that they were only "playing around." The extremely intoxicated woman was pulled from the floor but couldn't stand on her own, "mumbled incoherently ... would not listen to officers." When the homeowner stated they wanted the woman gone, police told her several times that she needed to arrange to get a ride from the scene. After failing to do so, and refusing to lower her voice when speaking with police, she was arrested for disorderly conduct.Sullivan County Sheriff's OfficeJune 19An individual wished to speak with an officer on Summerville Road, saying a goat had been stolen.June 20A Sullivan East coach called police after entering an office in the field house and discovering a TV and video camera had been.June 21At 7:30 p.m., dispatch was alerted to a suspicious male walking on Gravely Road. He was reportedly wearing a camo hat and red shorts and appeared to be carrying "a shotgun or rifle." Police responded but could locate no one matching the description.Wise County Sheriff's OfficeJune 21An employee of a motel called police to report finding an occupant with a dog inside his room. When advised that having an animal carried an additional $50 fee, the man paid $30 and left. On the way out, he allegedly stole a remote for the TV.Hawkins County Sheriff's OfficeJune 14Police responded to a residence on Shipley Road, where an occupant reported an argument with his roommate "over the room temperature." The complainant stated the other man "became agitated and got a sword off the wall," threatening to stab him. The victim said he wasn't in fear of being assaulted, but called police anyway to get a report on file. Responding officers found a hole the other man allegedly punched in a wall, but he had already left the residence with the sword in tow. He couldn't be immediately located.June 18A man parked his vehicle at a boat ramp to go fishing. When he returned, he found used motor oil squirted on both the driver and passenger side areas.June 20A man claimed to be driving on Highway 11-W in Mooresburg when a pickup rammed his vehicle in the passenger side. He said the other driver, who he did not know, continued chasing him west on 11-W, with a male in the back of that truck throwing a brick through his windshield. The alleged victim could offer police no suspects or possible motives.
