A photograph of historic Jonesborough won third place in a nationwide contest held by Reader's Digest.

"Sun Glow in Story Town," which captures the warmth and Americana of Tennessee's oldest town, was among 26 finalists in Reader's Digest "Made in America" photo contest.

The picture was taken by Kingsport resident Jay Huron. Huron works full-time as a graphic designer at Hillhouse Graphic Design in Kingsport, but enjoys photography in his free time. Huron primarily photographs in the Tri-Cities area, but also works in the nearby areas of North Carolina and Virginia.
