Kingsport City Schools to host superintendent luncheon event

KINGSPORT – Kingsport City Schools will host the first “Lunch with Lyle” event, an opportunity to interact with Superintendent Dr. Lyle Ailshie, on Friday, Feb. 21, from noon to 1 p.m. The luncheon will be held at the KCS Administrative Support Center, 400 Clinchfield St., third floor, Tennessee Room, downtown Kingsport.
The informal event will feature an open format of conversation, questions and answers with Dr. Ailshie, encouraging participation and information sharing between community members and administration. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch and eat during this time of interaction (food will not be served/provided at the event).
Kingsport City Schools is a public school system located in Kingsport, Tenn., serving students in Sullivan and Hawkins county. The district is comprised of 13 schools, including a Pre-K, eight elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and an alternative school; with total enrollment reaching 6,500 students.
