She stated a man keeps sending texts, asking her for nude photos.A Mooresburg woman reported her ex-boyfriend visited her home while she was at work to pickup his possessions, but also stole her cat.A 27-year-old man allegedly choked his mother during an argument over his income tax refund. He was arrested for aggravated assault. Feb. 7Police responded to a vandalism report at a Surgoinsville residence, where a man claimed his ex-girlfriend had thrown a rock through the rear window of his vehicle. Two hours later a deputy was dispatched to the home of the suspect, where four tires had been slashed on a vehicle and "almost every fuse was missing from the fuse block under the hood." She named her ex-boyfriend as the suspect.Feb. 9In a Rogersville parking lot police spoke with a woman who had been arguing with her boyfriend, "over some scrap gold." During the disagreement he allegedly poured Pepsi on her, then struck her in the ear with the can. The man was interviewed by police, saying he "must have picked up the can and threw it at her." He was charged with domestic assault.Feb. 8A Church Hill woman found her mailbox "demolished."A Jonesborough woman visited a Church Hill residence to get a free puppy. While there the litter's mother became "aggressive," but the dog's owner said the dog doesn't bite. "Seconds later" according to a police report, the dog lunged and bit the woman's thigh.Kingsport Police DepartmentFeb. 7A hold-up alarm was activated at a mobile phone store on North Eastman Road. At approximately 11:15 p.m. a 17-year-old called dispatch, saying he was locked out of his house. He claimed his mother had done so because he broke his curfew.
A representative of the Bloomingdale Optimist Club contacted police, reporting three separate signs they posted in the area have been stolen.A Memorial Boulevard resident told police that two unknown men were on her porch. One was reportedly rolling a joint, while the other "was urinating." When they started "messing around" inside her vehicle she confronted them, at which point they asked her for a ride. The request was denied and they walked away. Police responded to the area but the suspects could not be located. Feb. 8Police were alerted to a car load of people who attempted to steal a stop sign on Broyles Road.Feb. 9A man called police as he walked away from the Bloomingdale home of a friend. The resident had reportedly become angry upon learning that his wife had been texting with the complainant, who was now afraid to "go back and get his car on his own."Dispatch was alerted to a potential hazard on I-81, where a vehicle "with no tire on the back" was being towed.A woman called police on a man who she had been staying with, wishing to "turn him in" for being a "drugie."
