The Knoxville News Sentinel reported that 30-year-old Joshua Ryan Vandeventer is jailed on charges of aggravated burglary, theft of $60,000 or more and theft of $500 or less.
An arrest warrant says Vandeventer pried open a drawer in the home of Jim and Natalie Haslam on March 20 and stole $72,735 in jewelry, plus $1,000 in cash.
The warrant says Vandeventer, of Greenville, S.C., was employed by the Haslams but was fired April 29 after allegedly being videotaped breaking into a drawer.
The Associated Press couldn't determine Saturday if Vandeventer has a lawyer.
