ROGERSVILLE — Casey Marie Kuhlman, 26, 4031 Goshen Valley Road near Rogersville, was sentenced June 21 to one year and fined $150 for Class E felony willful abuse, neglect or exploitation by Judge John Dugger in Hawkins County Criminal Court.
Kuhlman and her boyfriend, Johnny Walters, 34, were arrested in August of last year accused of abusing and neglecting a 46-year-old paralyzed woman who had been cared for by Walters’ mother until the mother became too ill to serve as caretaker.
In April Walters, 34, was sentenced to four years in exchange for a guilty plea to one count of physical abuse, a Class C felony.
