ETSU student held at gunpoint while fraternity house burglarized

An East Tennessee State University student was held at gunpoint while his fraternity house in the Tree Streets was burglarized early Wednesday morning, according to a police report.

Johnson City police said in a report that a man identified as Lucas Petr, 19, had just returned home around 3 a.m. Wednesday to 719 W. Maple St., which is the Sigma Phi Epsilon house, when he heard a noise in a downstairs room.

He called out and a black man with dreadlocks who was wearing a red shirt appeared and pointed a handgun at him, according to the report.
