ASHEVILLE — A Buncombe County jury convicted a man who had a freight company ship 59 pounds of high-grade marijuana worth as much as $360,000 from California.

Milton Matthew Armistead was arrested in December 2011 after federal agents found the drug in a suspicious shipping container and used surveillance to catch the suspect when he went to claim it.
