KINGSPORT — City of Kingsport traffic engineering crews will be performing maintenance on signal lights at the intersection of East Stone Drive and North Eastman Road Tuesday, beginning at 9 a.m. and possibly extending through lunchtime.
The traffic signals must be de-energized in order to allow the work to occur.
To assist in traffic control, officers from the Kingsport Police Department will be on hand to direct motorists.
Given that this is one of the busiest intersections in Kingsport, police are asking motorists to use the utmost caution and to seek alternate routes.
