Police seek Bristol, Tenn. man in connection with Kingsport burglary

Kingsport police are looking for a Bristol, Tenn. man who allegedly broke into a Brunswick Street residence last month before making off with a flatscreen television.

Authorities said they are attempting to locate Glenn A. Hilliard, 29, of Bristol, who is wanted on charges of aggravated burglary and theft of property under $500 in connection with the Jan. 18 break-in.

According to the Kingsport Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Brunswick Street home on the day of the alleged burglary. The alleged victim told authorities that an unknown person entered her home by forcing their way through the back door before making off with the television set, which is valued under $500.

During their investigation, police reportedly discovered information identifying Hilliard as the alleged suspect.

Police said Hilliard was seen in the area at the time the burglary took place driving a small, white vehicle that was possibly an Acura Integra or a Honda Accord or Civic.

Hilliard's last known residence was in the Bristol area, authorities said.
