Elizabethton police: Vulgar tongue gestures lead to stalking charge

ELIZABETHTON — A man who allegedly made vulgar gestures with his tongue toward a woman in one retail store and then followed the woman and her husband to another store, where he allegedly continued to make vulgar gestures and put his hand on her shopping cart, was arrested by Elizabethton police on Wednesday.

Hank S. Williams, 46, 240 Opossum Hollow Road, was charged with aggravated stalking and evading arrest.

Investigating officer Sgt. Christopher Bowers said the incident occurred Nov. 11, when Williams allegedly confronted Lillian Kneece and made the vulgar gestures and made comments in a low tone.
