Women accused of high-speed car altercation face multiple charges

An early-morning car battle between the drivers of two vehicles ended up with both in jail, according to court records filed Thursday.One driver, Donna G. Bosze, 53, 381 Possum Hollow Rd., Apt. 7, Gray, was charged with kidnapping, driving on a revoked license, evading arrest and five counts of reckless endangerment. The other driver, Tonya S. Hartley, 22, 1513 E. Myrtle Ave., Johnson City, was charged with five counts of reckless endangerment.The pursuit of Bosze’s and Hartley’s vehicles started around 3:15 a.m. when Officers Robert McCurry and David Hilton were conducting a special patrol detail and saw the two cars, a Ford Escort and Chevrolet Impala, pull from East Myrtle onto North Broadway “at a high rate of speed and extremely close to one another.”Read the full story on the Johnson City Press Web site.
