For the second times in three months, a Limestone, Tenn., man has been arrested on felony drug charges in the parking lot of a Kingsport fast-food restaurant.

On Thursday he was found passed out in his car -- with food on his lap and sour cream "smeared all over" his face -- at the Taco Bell on North Eastman Road. On Feb. 18 he was arrested at Wendy's, 10154 Airport Parkway, possessing four baggies of marijuana.

Early Thursday morning Brock Lawson, 23, of Limestone, Tenn., was allegedly found asleep in the passenger seat of his vehicle outside Taco Bell. Kingsport police say Lawson, "had food thrown about his lap and his face had sour cream smeared all over it."

The responding officer awakened Lawson and had him step from the vehicle. Police say he was lethargic and had difficulty following commands, prompting his arrest for public intoxication.

A search of Lawson allegedly resulted in nearly 1.8 ounces of marijuana in the pocket of his pants. He was then charged with possession of more than a half ounce of marijuana for resale within 1,000 feet of a school.

The report states that while being booked into jail Lawson, "continually grabbed his genitals and buttocks." A cavity search was conducted, locating $105 in cash.

Lawson allegedly said he was hiding the money because he didn't want police to take it.

In the February incident Lawson was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, second offense, and possession of Schedule VI narcotics for resale.

Police say they were responding to a report of a possibly intoxicated driver when they located Lawson and his wife in the Wendy's parking lot. Lawson, who was allegedly "disoriented," consented to a search of the vehicle, locating four baggies of marijuana within a Wendy's bag.

His wife, Jessica Lawson, 29, was also arrested at Wendy's. Police say she was hiding in her bra $890 in cash, two baggies of marijuana, and a bottle of Xanax.
