Jonesborough teen arrested after gun play in Greeneville

According to the Greeneville Sun, a Jonesborough teen was charged Friday with reckless endangerment and having no driver license after an incident in which shots were fired from a vehicle at the Greeneville Terrace apartment complex.
John Cody Johnson, 19, was charged after witnesses told police that he had fired three shots into the air from a vehicle in the apartment complex's parking lot on Elk Street in an apparent effort to intimidate another person, a police report said.
Bond for Johnson was set at $1,500. He was scheduled to appear on Wednesday in General Sessions Court.
