Man critical after being run over by pickup truck in Hamblen

According to a Morristown Citizen-Tribune report, a local man sustained potentially life-threatening injuries Monday night when he was run over by a pickup while lying in a driveway on Tom Treece Road, according to authorities.Terry Hicks, 41, was listed in critical condition in a surgical intensive care unit at the University of Tennessee Medical Center this morning, according to a hospital spokeswoman.A pickup driven by Todd Massey ran over Hicks’ torso at the residence of Massey’s brother, Don Massey, according to Hamblen County Sheriff Esco Jarnagin. "I don’t think it was done on purpose at this time," Jarnagin said this morning. "The seriousness of the injury is very grave.
