KNOXVILLE — Former Knoxville police officers Nicky R. Bryant and Donald Scott Clark face misdemeanor charges in connection with alleged alcohol-fueled incidents involving a pair of 13-year-old girls, according to records in Knox County General Sessions Court.
Bryant and Clark each have been charged with two counts of purchasing alcohol for minors, records show. The pair surrendered today at the Knox County Detention Facility and posted $500 bonds. Arraignment hearings are scheduled for Sept. 14.
Clark’s attorney, Gregory P. Isaacs, seemed to hint this afternoon that Clark might plead guilty to the charge as part of an agreement with the Knox County District Attorney General’s Office. Isaacs said he and prosecutors are still talking about the matter.
