Small plane goes down on Morristown golf course

According to a report in the Morristown Citizen Tribune, two men suffered minor injuries Thursday afternoon when their airplane crashed on Millstone Golf Club near the Morristown municipal airport.The plane bounced off the No. 8 fairway, then crashed into a natural hazard area on the same hole.The owner of the 1946 Cessna 120, Washburn resident Luther Siegfried Boeck, 69, was being recertified by Theodore Everette Kryder, 78 of White Pine when the single-engine aircraft lost power, according to police.According to Morristown Police, Boeck was making a low pass over Morristown Air Service, Inc., which is adjacent to the golf course, when it lost power.
