Rogersville woman testifies former Hamblen Co. deputy demanded sex

According to a report in the Knoxville News Sentinel, a Rogersville woman says she thought she had no choice but to have sex in the back of Hamblen Co. deputy's cruiser. Her story began unfolding this week in Greeneville's U.S. District Court.According to documents filed by FBI Agent Lane P. Rushing, the woman was among several who claim former Hamblen County Sheriff's Office Deputy Dexter L. Morris Jr. demanded sexual favors while he was on duty and in uniform.Morris is accused of violating the civil rights of at least two female detainees. His attorney, Clifton L. Corker, argues that the alleged rape of the Rogersville woman in the back of the police cruiser in August 2005 a man enjoying an illicit tryst with a willing partner. CLICK HERE for the full report.
