Morristown man indicted on child porn charge

According to the Knoxville News Sentinel a 21-year-old Morristown man has been indicted by a grand jury on a charge of sexual exploitation of a child.William Anthony Hoffa of Hayter Drive was arrested at his residence, according to a press release today from Morristown Police Chief Roger Overholt. Hoffa is being held in the Hamblen County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.A grand jury reviewed the case that was launched by Morristown Police Department Det. Michael O’Keefe with the agency’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. Overholt said O’Keefe had contact with Hoffa in the fall of 2008 in an unrelated case.O’Keefe seized Hoffa’s computer as evidence and authorities found more than 100 images and 50 videos depicting child pornography, Overholt said.CLICK HERE for the full report.
