He died a senseless death."Graves, 52, was watching television Saturday with his wife at their home, 9920 Washington Pike, when two men with bandannas over their faces and guns in their hands broke in around 9 p.m. Graves struggled with one of the men, who shot him in the left thigh. He died the next day at University of Tennessee Medical Center. Authorities still seek the killers. The robbers got away with a safe that Knox County Sheriff's Office deputies found lying open in the middle of the road about 100 yards west of the house.
